    Improving your products without having to change them is no easy task.  However, SBS Researchers were up to the task and found a way to do that. They were trying to think outside the box, or in this case, “thinking outside the hoof”.

     One way to improve the effectiveness of some of the SBStopical products was to increase the potential product contact time on the surfaces they were designed to treat.  Considering that most liquid topical products can run down the hoof and evaporate very quickly, there is the potential for waste and reduced effectiveness. Many topical products require a 10 minute contact time to provide their maximum effectiveness.  SBS Researchers solved this problem by developing the SBS Therapy Band.

     SBS Therapy Bands are made of synthetic fibers that are designed to hold five times their weight in liquid. They wick the ingredients toward the hoof tissue for over a twenty minute time period.  The result provides a longer contact time for the products to do their work, with less waste and little danger of over-soaking.  The Bands also are washable and can be used over and over again.  The Bands work best with Toe Grow
