Farrier’s Hoof Sealant II is the second generation of our popular sealant that was named “Editor’s Choice” in 2010.  The new larger bottle contains over 6 million nylon micro fibers that web seal and nail holes and toe cracks which weaken the hoof structure and are the obvious pathways of infection.  The new stronger formula also reinforces nail clinches and helps prevent thrown shoes.  Sealant is compatible with cosmetic coatings and other hoof dressing that may be used over it for shows or after trimming.
